It's not difficult to believe where fifty two years could go...

As we all know - time flies! In 1961 the RLCA incorporated, dues were two dollars and fifty cents, most of the less than forty cottages, cabins and camps were situated either by the dams or where logging roads and cart paths gave more convenient access. Other properties were water accessible only.

My how things have changed. There are over 700 properties on the Redstone Chain of Lakes, a myriad of roads (many privately maintained), and yes there are still water access cottages. But as much as the lake has a larger population, more boats, cabins, cottages and homes now, there's still much in common with the days of "sixty one". It's still about the lake, the land and living the lake life. Do you recall what first brought you to choose the Redstone Chain of Lakes? How are we managing our common interests and keeping our expectations in check with what brought us all here?

With that in mind we've created a revamped web site from the "bottom of the lake up"! We've added a weather forecast tab, given access to biweekly lake conditions and added a community events calendar (that all can participate in), added new content and are adding a membership signup that will help streamline and manage our membership information. Also we're looking to engage everyone on the lakes with a "What Do You Think" survey link. Heck we've even updated the RLCA logo and have a Members Only Benefits page that is slated for access in the New Year.
