<description>Re: July 5th annual meeting. Thank you for the opportunity to address the membership regarding the &quot;Jumping Rock&quot; on Redstone Lake.
This past weekend has been a real eye opener. I spent the whole of Sat. afternoon chasing people off the rock. Everyone that I spoke to completely disregarded the NO TRESPASSING signs that were posted. (signs have been torn down and I must now replace). I had to go back repeatedly to get rid of one boatload of young people who became quite ignorant towards me. (They are from the north end of the lake it seems).
Also on a related note. On Sat. evening aprox. 9 pm, I noticed a boat full of young people dock at my neighbour&#039;s cottage (vacant this past weekend). They were obviously drunk and some got out on the property to relieve themselves. When I asked them to leave I was greeted to howls of laughter. The boat then took off into East Bay. Anyone know these people?
I shudder to think that these people are going to be the next generation of cottage owners on the lake. The point that I&#039;m trying to make here is that if we fail to respect and protect each other&#039;s property rights our paradise on Redstone will be lost.
As I said at the meeting, these are your children and in some cases grandchildren. If they are responsible enough to operate a power boat and cruise the lake then you must insist that they respect people&#039;s property rights.
Thank you and I would welcome any comments.
